Listen, Act, Transform: My Journey to Empowering Individuals
As a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado and a man dedicated to his family, I've committed my career to empowering individuals, couples, and families to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals. My journey began in 2007, working with teens who experienced trauma and their families in a residential setting. Since then, I've pursued further education and gained extensive experience working with the Eating Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder populations, leading a clinical team in the Hospital setting, and advocating for change.
A Person-Centered Approach: My approach is rooted in the Person-Centered Approach, emphasizing a non-judgmental and unconditional positive regard for all clients. I practice evidence-based interventions and approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). With my passion for helping others, I'm confident that my services can provide a meaningful impact on the lives of those I serve. I'm committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals, couples, and families can feel seen, heard, and understood.
A Safe Haven for Growth: My experience has shown me that every individual, couple, and family has the strength and resilience to overcome adversity. With careful guidance, they can learn to adapt to life's challenges, develop meaningful relationships, and cultivate a sense of purpose and fulfillment. At Cowan Therapeutic Services, you can expect a compassionate, understanding, and non-judgmental space where you can heal, grow, and thrive.
